We’re a small friendly community choir based in our local pub, Ye Olde Rose & Crown. Open to all, and all levels of experience, we enjoy singing a wide range of music from around the world – mainly folk and world music with more recent pop thrown in, such as Ghost Town, Hold back the river and Viva la vida. We perform locally at regular events like the Stowathon – a 24 hour fund-raising event, Burns Night, and “Carols by Candlelight” at the Rose & Crown every Christmas. We also do one off events such as Camden Roundhouse Voices Now, Sing for Water down by the Thames and Give a Gig fundraising sessions at various London stations to raise money for youth music.
Come along to Ye Olde Rose & Crown, Hoe St, Walthamstow any Wednesday evening at 7.30 to try us out – your first night is free, £5 a session after that.
